We know that Birmingham has a vast network of people that regularly take photographs and tell stories about the city so we would love to invite you to take part in our social media takeovers on Tumblr and Instagram happening between March and June.
This is part of a new photography project that will document the spaces in and around the Hockley Flyover between March and June 2020. The project aims to capture the unique character and quirkiness of the space as well as acting as a tool to gather local people’s experiences and hopes about how we could re-imagine the area.
We are keen to provide a way for us to collectively share some stories and photographs capturing how you see the Hockley Flyover. It can include photographs from the past or taken this year.
As well as the online stories the project will work towards holding a weekend event in in June in the spaces under the flyover and produce special edition Hockley Flyover Photo Magazine.
If you fancy doing one of the guest takeovers get in touch with the project lead Tracey Thorne by email at email@example.com or DM us on Instagram @ghost_streets
